No previous experience is necessary for this activity, although it is important to bear in mind that we will be in open water far from the coast and sometimes there may be waves and/or strong currents in the water.

We must always be attentive to the guide’s indications.

The objective of MAKO PAKO is the sighting of open water fauna, and snorkelling next to the boat to see it from the water. We know that when they appear, the blue sharks take centre stage. However, they are wild animals with pelagic habits, so SIGHTINGS ARE NOT GUARANTEED for any of the species on the tours.

Currently the success rate for sightings is 85%.

Safety is the priority for the guides and they reserve the right to not let you in the water or cancel the activity at any time.

We use our experience and knowledge of this environment to make the trips as successful as possible, but it is wildlife and sometimes there are factors that we cannot control.

This experience is an activity open to everyone, so it is done in snorkel. The minimum age for snorkelling is 14 years old, with signed authorisation from parents or guardians.

It is necessary to be familiar with the use of snorkelling equipment (mask, snorkel and fins).
