What wildlife can be seen?

It depends on the day. It may be possible to see, among other species, sunfish, jellyfish, seabirds, schools of fish, or even turtles. However, no specific sightings can be guaranteed.

Do we enter the water during this activity?

Yes. Snorkeling is the main objective, as long as sea conditions are suitable and safety allows it. We enter the water to observe surface wildlife when it appears and to enjoy the pelagic blue.

What is a pelagic trip?

It is an open-sea snorkeling outing focused on exploring the pelagic environment of the Cantabrian Sea and observing whatever wildlife may appear naturally: sunfish, jellyfish, seabirds, and other occasional encounters. There is no specific target species; every day is different.

We are sentinel observers for Observadores del Mar. On each trip, we collect sighting data, and you can also participate by: Sharing your photographs. Recording your observations. Creating a profile on the platform. Your contribution directly supports science and ocean conservation.

Does the activity include photographs?

On some trips, the guide may enter the water with a camera and take photographs. However, their priority is always safety and group supervision.If photos are taken, we can share the images from your trip.If you would like a dedicated photographer, this can be requested as an additional service.
